Zena Hamon is 100% committed to protecting the privacy and security of customers and site visitors. If you have any questions about how your data is stored or used please email at zenahamon@hotmail.com.

Your consented data will only be used for your customer experience and the shipping of goods. We never send spam and your data is kept strictly confidential between Zena Hamon and you, the customer. Your information is never held unnecessarily.

SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

1.1. To deliver the products bought from www.zenahamon.com or from Zena Hamon directly, the products you purchase from Zena Hamon or www.zenahamon.com cannot be delivered to you without your name and address. Your email address and phone number is important at this stage in case we need to contact you directly about order fulfilment. 

1.2. To send you service messages by e-mail such as order updates. You are emailed when your order has been shipped so you know that your purchase is on its way to you.

1.3. To send you information by email about our new products and services, you are only sent email newsletters and updates with your permission and you can ask your email to be removed at any time.

1.4. Posts will be made on Instagram to advertise latest work and work for sale. This is so the customer is able to see what is available for purchase. You are unable to unfollow at any time.

1.5. Information regarding clicks on products on www.zenahamon.com from site visitors on www.zenahamon is anonymous and so there is no personal data held for this. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps Shopify learn about your browser and operating system.

1.6. Information or comments on Instagram @zenahamon such as comments and likes on Instagram is done so at your discretion and Zena Hamon does not hold any liability for these. You are able to delete your comments or likes at any time. Your Instagram direct messages are deleted as soon as the conversation has been resolved.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

2.1. To take payment and give refunds for the purchase of the item you would like to buy or return.

2.2. To prevent and detect fraud by making sure the purchase is legitimate. 

2.3. Your card details are not personally seen by Zena Hamon as they are made with PayPal. PayPal server makes the transaction on behalf of Shopify – please see PayPal T&C. 

SECTION 3 - CONTACT AND ORDER HISTORY & ABANDONED CHECKOUTS

3.1. Provide customer service and support, emails regarding a specific query that are relevant, are only held for future use of understanding customer issues or queries regarding products to ensure your customer experience is made better for the future. Phone calls are never recorded.

3.2. To sell you the product(s), items that are logged as purchased, Zena Hamon will not be able to see what item was bought to be able to ship your desired product without contact and order history. Abandoned checkouts also show Zena Hamon what type of items are performing well and how this can be improved for you, the customer.

3.3. To provide customer service and support, and handle returns. Zena Hamon has a responsibility to be able to discuss with the customer the product they have bought or issue at hand.

SECTION 4 - INFORMATION FROM YOUR PHONE OR LAPTOP

4.1. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps Shopify learn about your browser and operating system.

SECTION 5 - DISCLOSURE

5.1. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 6 - SHOPIFY

6.1. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

SECTION 7 - SHARING INFORMATION

7.1. Zena Hamon respects the privacy of each individual customer and has not and will not sell any personal data to a third party. This includes your name, address, email address, telephone number, or credit card information.

SECTION 8 - MARKETING MESSAGES

8.1. If you have opted in at www.zenahamon.com for email newsletters or have asked Zena Hamon directly to be added to the email newsletter list, please note that you can asked to be removed at any time. If you asked for Zena Hamon to contact you via email or Instagram direct message, for when a specific product becomes available, your communication will be held on file until this has come to fruition or has been resolved. Once the communication has been resolved the message or email will be deleted.

Please unfollow at @zenahamon on Instagram or ask to unsubscribe from any future emails.

SECTION 9 - SEEING ADVERTS FROM ZENA HAMON

9.1. Zena Hamon will advertise new products on Instagram @zenahamon and you can unfollow at any time if you would prefer not to see these.

SECTION 10 - HOLDING INFORMATION

10.1. Zena Hamon will hold on to your information for as long as is needed to be able to provide the services to you, or for as long as your communication is being dealt with you directly.

10.2. If reasonably necessary or required to meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our terms and conditions, we may also keep hold of some of your information as required, even after you have asked to be removed from Zena Hamon’s server.

SECTION 12 - PAYMENT

12.1. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

12.2. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 13 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

13.2. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

14.1. When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

SECTION 15 - SECURITY

15.1. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

15.2. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

16.1. Here is a list of cookies that we use. We’ve listed them here so you that you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not.

_session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
